Granite is just the latest aggregate company to realize the advantage of using enviroLIS. This collaboration joins the strong partnerships that ENKON already has with some of the largest aggregate companies in North America, including Hanson, Martin Marietta, Lafarge, Cemex, and Titan. Modular, web-based enviroLIS is the ideal application to meet the varying needs of these companies. Executive, managers, and field staff can all access the information they need from any location – whether in the office, at the plant, or on the road. ENKON Awarded Washington State Conservation System Contract Victoria, B.C., August 5, 2008 – ENKON Information Systems Inc. announced today that the Washington State Conversation Commission has awarded ENKON the contract to create the Conservation Practice Data System (CPDS). CPDS was initiated in 2006 as the Watershed Data Pilot Project (WDPP), a web-based repository for the state's conservation districts' habitat restoration projects. The project provides Washington State conservation districts, the Washington State Conservation Commission (WSCC), and other local entities supporting habitat restoration with a single web-based application and repository of project and monitoring data. The WSCC has subsequently obtained government funding to formalize this innovative analytical tool, and ENKON, the original developer behind the WDPP, has won the opportunity to work with the WSCC once again. CPDS will promote collaboration across conservation districts and between government departments, present data from environmental and ecological projects and studies across Washington State, and demonstrate the wider ramifications of individual efforts to improve environmental health. Harnessing powerful mapping and reporting tools, this broader focus dismisses boundaries and opens up exciting possibilities for learning how to make a genuine and lasting difference to the wellbeing of the state. ENKON is thrilled to be a part of this groundbreaking project. CPDS is based on enviroLIS, ENKON'S Environmental and Land Information System. This modular, web-based software system provides a comprehensive information management solution for environmental and land managers. enviroLIS is an ideal tool to comply with today's regulations to track, monitor, and reduce the environmental impact on our world. Over the last 10 years, ENKON has deployed enterprise-level environmental and land information management systems for public and private sector clients in the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
