GHG Tracking
Viridian
's Greenhouse Gas (GHG) module enables management of all aspects of the GHG calculation process. An administrative interface is used to manage the calculations by fuel type, material usage, or business process. Specific assets or processes are entered and linked to the relevant calculations. Additionally, these assets or processes can be further categorized such that data can be rolled up by category. To calculate the various greenhouse gas emissions or CO2 equivalent, simple operational information like amount of fuel used or material produced will be entered. As such GHG emissions can be evaluated by asset, material use or process.
These assets or processes can also be associated to a specific location such that GHG data can be rolled up and evaluated by location, a group of locations, or the entire company for a given time frame. The approach taken in the GHG module allows for flexibility in terms of how data is managed and reported.
