Incident Management

	Viridians' Incident Management module is used for the tracking of unplanned events that occur and involve some loss of control by an organization. This module tracks any type of incident, including spills, notice of violations, public complaints, injuries, safety violations, etc. It has an easy-to-use interface for adding incidents of any degree or consequence. The incidents can be referenced by Site, linear corridor marker, or a geographic coordinate. For example, to record an incident, a user will first select the Site where the incident has occurred, and then a blank incident form appears so the user can enter data to start the incident management business process.

Over 50 fields of data are tracked for an incident. Some of the key functionality in this module includes:

Indication of whether individuals were injured, and if so, who
Regulatory reports which can be run directly from the incident form (Report Templates)
Incidents can be linked to specific Tasks that need to be undertaken to address the incident
Incidents can be linked to one or more corrective actions
Automatic notices about the incident can be sent to individuals within the organization once an incident is entered
Related documents can be uploaded and attached to each incident
Related photos can be uploaded and attached to each incident
Incidents can be managed as Privileged and Confidential and will only be viewable by a select list of individuals
