The Viridian application can help your company keep track of waste streams generated and shipped from your various locations, as well as contamination and remediation efforts at company owned sites.  Specific modules have been created to support the following business processes:

Hazardous Waste Management

The Hazardous Waste Management module allows users to store data about and track all manifested waste shipments.  The data form mirrors the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest, while Administrative users can maintain waste stream and company specific TSDF details for easy data population.  Internal information regarding billing is integrated into each record, while easy reporting can allow for Generator Status verification.

Recycling Data

"What gets measured... gets changed!"  Improve your company's solid waste recycling initiative by tracking the quantities diverted from the landfill in Viridian's Recycling Data module.   In this module, custom lists of recyclables can be identified for each location.  Quantities of each material can be entered per shipment, while custom reports allow for summarizing quantities for a single waste stream or all wastes recycled.  Furthermore, statistics can be generated for a single location, a group of locations or the entire organization for any given timeframe.  The Recycling Data module can accommodate for commingled materials, compacted versus loose shipments, and can even calculate a recycling rate.   

Asbestos

The Asbestos module is used to track information related to any asset that contains asbestos or has the potential to have asbestos containing materials. Through a web-based system, this information can be distributed quickly and effectively to the individuals who need to know this  information. In the Asbestos module, data forms are used to manage buildings that have or may contain asbestos.

Contaminated Sites

Through industrial use, waste disposal, accidental spills and a multitude of other sources, instances of land contamination are prevalent throughout urban and less developed regions. Legislation now enforces that these contaminated areas be identified and reported for health and safety reasons and to investigate remediation activities. ENKON's Viridian application has a Contaminated Sites module used to identify instances of contamination, and to track all business processes relating to that site from its discovery to reporting its existence to the relevant authorities and on to clean-up activities.
