Core Functionality
The core functionality of enviroLIS, from setting users’
rights to event-triggered e-mail reminders, comes standard with any deployment.
Integrated with the Land and/or Environmental Management Packages, organizations
create customized enterprise-level information management systems. The functionality
contained within enviroLIS includes:

|
|
- Navigation: By using intuitive maps, tree views
and search pages, locating the information you need is made easy, fast and accurate.
The newest feature to arrive is our Dashboard. Easily jump to your favorite facility
and module of interest with just one click.
- Security: Users' rights can be assigned to business
units, geographic areas, and for each component of enviroLIS, allowing many different types of users to use the system within your organization
while maintaining a high level of security between groups.
- Photo Manager: Upload and retrieve photos through
our advanced photo management system. Automatic thumbnail generation, indexing,
and categorizing the photos are just a few functions available to the user.
- Document Manager: Secure your documents for
the long term and never worry about losing information again. Documents can have
up to four security levels to ensure complete protection of your information.
- Calendar/E-mail Reminders: From permit conditions
to agreement renewals, all important dates can be managed through enviroLIS’
calendar. E-mails are automatically sent to users to remind them of critical dates
and activities. E-mail triggers can also be attached to quantity fields. Exceed
a quantity limit and an e-mail will be sent out.

these reports sent to you automatically on a predefined schedule.
- Basic Mapping: Provides the ability to locate
and identify your sites, facilities and properties on a map.
- Advanced Feature/Facility Mapping (optional):
With our optional mapping module, detailed maps of a facility can be displayed.
Environmental and land features can be overlaid onto aerial photos to give your
organization
a real-time image of your operations. Link these features to their attributes stored
in the database.
