ENKON Information Systems will showcase its enviroLIS application at the upcoming Sustainability live! event in Birmingham, England. Sustainability live! is the UK’s largest gathering of suppliers for environmental best practice solutions for business. ENKON will participate in the Environmental Technology and Environmental Services (ES & ET) portion of the show, an event geared to buyers in the manufacturing, waste energy, and water industries, and decision makers at various levels of central and local government.

enviroLIS is a modular, web-based software system that provides a comprehensive information management solution for environmental and land managers. It is an ideal tool to comply with today’s regulations that require industry to track, monitor, and reduce the environmental impact on our world.

Sustainability live! will be held 20-22 May, 2008 at the NEC Birmingham. Representatives from ENKON Information Systems will be located in Hall 8, booth Q42. We look forward to welcoming and meeting all visitors to our booth.

ENKON staff will be lacing up the runners to participate in the 2008 Relay for Life, June 13th-14th at the Juan de Fuca Velodrome in Victoria, B.C.

As the Canadian Cancer Society website states: "Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with family and friends and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against this disease."

Cancer has had a direct impact on many of us at ENKON, and by participating in this event, we feel we have an opportunity to personally work towards a cure.We encourage our friends and family to participate in the Relay or to donate to support those who are walking. Funds raised at the Relay for Life will be used to:

• fund research on all types of cancer
• provide information about cancer care and treatment
• offer support to people living with cancer
• prevent cancer through healthy lifestyles and risk reduction strategies
• advocate for public policies to reduce the burden of cancer
