CEO's Message
The Internet has revolutionized access to information and brought in a new age of
information management and delivery. The quantity and quality of information that
is available at our fingertips is far reaching already, and yet the full impact
and extent of this technology is not yet fully realized and only just begun. From
researching recipes from our kitchen to zooming in to see an aerial photo of our
neighborhood, the Internet has made our 'need to know' not only possible but easy
and fun.

ENKON is excited to be part of the Internet revolution and has recognized
the immense value that it has for the business community. By providing corporations
and organizations with innovative web-based information management tools, ENKON
provides the structure and expertise for its clients to capitalize on the time-efficiency
and cost-cutting benefits that the Internet can realize and allow them to take full
advantage of this new age of information access.
Previous to the Internet, companies were restricted to using the information and
tools only available through their own internal networks, set up and maintained as an
internal overhead cost. Just as air travel gave us strawberries in winter, the Internet
has released us from our reliance upon our own domains and opened up a secure, worldwide
network to provide unparalleled speed of access to broader information sources and
expert services. Information and software tools no longer need to be built and maintained
in our own closed environments but can be brought in as needed, at the highest quality,
through specialized information management and hosting professionals. ENKON is part
of this service industry and is a leading expert in developing and hosting environmental
and land management information systems.
ENKON chose to focus initially on environmental and land management owing to the
backgrounds of its principals. ENKON's longer-term expansion goals are in the areas
of health and safety in response to the increasing requirement of environmental
departments to take responsibility for these areas. This will be a natural progression
for ENKON's software products and services, which are organic and flexible by their
very nature.
